Adaptive Light Source

Kolektor ALS (Adaptive Light Source) designs machine vision lighting especifically for creating different lighting conditions using one single component. It features ethernet connectivity and an OPC UA interface with a dedicated API for simple integration into any machine vision system.

Synchronisation is achieved with a dedicated trigger sync signal output. Each of the 1000+ LED’s is individually colour- and intensity-controlled (RGBI) via a simple web application. This enables the user to set single LED’s, complex patterns and/or sequences of the lighting with the press of a few buttons. Combinations and possibilities are almost endless. With the new lighting you can simply adapt the lighting conditions to simulate simple MV lights like ring lights, dome lights, direct lights, etc., and use it for classic approaches or more advanced ones like photometric stereo. The Kolektor Adaptive Light Source can be acquired for experimental needs. If interested, contact Kolektor at vision@kolektor.com for more information.
